Lamp Grasper

The Lamp Grasper (ランプグラスパー), known as the Globe Grasp in English broadcasts, is a Third Stage obstacle introduced in SASUKE 9 replacing the Arm Bike. The function of the obstacle is that a competitor must cross across 5m by only grabbing onto fourteen small, glowing blue spheres attached to the scaffolding above. Over the four tournaments it was in the Third Stage, it eliminated four people. Nakata Daisuke failed there three times in SASUKE 9, SASUKE 10, SASUKE 11. The other failure was Takeda Toshihiro in SASUKE 9. After Nagano Makoto's near miss of Kanzenseiha, it was replaced by the Curtain Cling.
