Maruta Zaka

The Maruta Zaka (丸太坂), referred to as the Log Slope on Ninja Warrior, was a First Stage obstacle from SASUKE 17. It was a log 30 cm in diameter and 4 meters wide that was on an incline; the grade is not known. As the competitor walked up the log, it would roll from side to side. Used as the second obstacle, it pushed the Sandan Rolling Maruta to the third obstacle. It didn't take out many people and after this tournament, the course was redesigned and the Maruta Zaka was removed.
